If you’d like to help set up a Seed Swap Library we’d love to meet you this Saturday morning 10.00am -12.30pm at the Fitzroy Urban Swap. If not, please come anyway and see how Transition Yarra can support this monthly event, meet local gardeners and leverage/link projects to further create resilient community. 4 August TY meeting

It so happens that a convergence of events is creating something of a community food extravaganza in Fitzroy on Saturday the 4th of August, so we thought we’d get in on the action and plan our next TY meeting right in the midst of it.

Saturday 4 August
10am-12.30pm Fitzroy Urban Harvest produce swap at Smith Reserve (Alexandra Parade, next to the Fitzroy Pool)
12:30pm-1:30pm straight after the swap at Smith Reserve – Transition Yarra get-together
2:00pm-3:30pm “Setting Up a City Planter Box”, meet at Fitzroy Town Hall
4:00pm Yarra Community Food Network get-together over soup and film screening (5pm): ‘One Magic Square’ – Kindness House (Level 2, 288 Brunswick St, Fitzroy)
