    Hello Transition Towns folks,

I’ve been thinking of you as I’m organising a talk next month by a couple of inspiring young women I think your members might like.

I’ve become increasingly interested in the Fibreshed movement lately as it combines my love and concerns for making/creativity, environment, responsible up-skilling and local sustainability – all of which I suspect you share. Essentially it’s about applying the sort of awareness to our wardrobes that we apply to our food – ie local, sustainable, non-exploitative.
