Dearest Swappers,

Happy New Year!  I hope 2013 has got off to a relaxing and enjoyable start for everyone and that your gardens are all bursting with summer bounty!

It’s swap time again next Saturday 2nd February – we’ll be back swapping at the usual location (next to the pool in Smiths Reserve, Alexandra Parade Fitzroy)

As discussed at the December meeting we’ve decided to add in an extra swapping dimension for 2013 – so February is the REGIFT SWAP – the idea is that you can bring along any Christmas gifts you received that aren’t quite your cup of tea or that you just know you’re never going to use and see if someone else would love it?!? The catch is though, that if no one else is interested in your gift, you have to take it home with you or drop it off at the oppy on the way home!

We’ve worked out a whole schedule of extra swapping for the year which I’ll email you all next month because I think the little piece of paper we wrote it on is somewhere in the swap stuff – but just to give you a heads up I think March might be Cook Books!

So bring along your garden produce, seeds, cuttings, jars, eggs, jams, chutneys, recipes etc – everyone welcome!

Saturday, 2nd Feb 10am – 12.30pm

Smith Reserve, Alexandra Pde (parkland next to Fitzroy Pool)

As usual, we need some extra hands to HELP set up and pack up, so if you can come a little earlier (9.45ish) or stay a little later (1ish), please call Peta on 0411899618 or before next Saturday.

The monthly Transition Yarra meeting will also be happening during the swap – the TY group gets together at 11am – All welcome to join in the interesting and lively discussion – if you’d like to know more about Transition Yarra you can visit their website or facebook page

To be added to the Transition Yarra contact list,
